Ingredients
- 50 g raw peeled onion
- 20 g (1 tbs) extra virgin olive oil or butter
- 150 g cream cheese
- 80 g Greek natural yoghurt or sour cream
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Finely chop the onion
- Melt the oil or butter in a fry pan over medium heat
- Add the onions, cook for 5 minutes, stirring
- Remove from stove and allow to cool
- Place the cream cheese in a bowl and microwave on high for 20 to 30 seconds, or until soft enough to cream with a spoon (not melted)
- Add the yoghurt or sour cream and pepper and salt, mix until lump free
- Add the onions. Mix until just combined. Refrigerate until required
- Serve on a Low Carb Co crackers with smoked salmon and fresh dill
